The country house “Casa do Norte” is located in the village of Santa Bárbara, on the northern slope of Santa Maria island, and offers a dazzling view of the sea and mountains.

In this truly rural environment tranquillity and silence prevail in perfect harmony with nature.

Casa do Norte is a perfect example of the traditional architecture of Santa Maria. The house has a vaulted wood oven, fully restored, with the typical round chimney denoting the influence of the first colonisers of the island.
