| A peaceful vacation can definitely be found here. This traditional Adega was restored with dreams of a far past and the taste of the Azores wine made in its cellar.
The soul of this house is visible in it's decoration with tools of the Azorean wine-making trade. The locals who make this wine are still alive and healthy, able to tell you the tails (providing all the information) of a long day of hard work that paid off in November's S. Martinho day when they tasted their wines for the first time.
The tradition was and still is a glass of wine and cooked or barbecued water chestnuts, well... maybe more than one glass... Suggested Activities:
Walking, biking, swimming, diving, fishing, climbing pico mountain, whale watching, island hopping, guided tours, water ski, boat rides, canoe rides, wine tasting, local foods, and much more. |
